About Beckie
Creative Coach for women ready to rediscover themselves
Coaching with a side of creativity
Feeling a little lost — but ready for something new!
I work with women who are thoughtful, creative, ambitious - and tired of putting themselves last. They’ve got many ideas and dreams, but sometimes struggle with overthinking, self doubt and perfectionist tendencies, making it difficult to know which direction to go in next.
My approach is gentle, encouraging and grounded. I’m not here to push you into unrealistic goals - I’m here to help you reconnect with what matters, explore your potential, get unstuck, and take action that feels right for who you are now.
Sometimes that’s working out the next step in your career.
Sometimes it’s carving space for your creativity again.
Sometimes it’s just getting clarity on what you want and how to ask for it.

About Beckie
I’m Beckie, a creative coach and mum of two, who knows exactly what it feels like to lose a bit of yourself in the blur of parenting, work, and trying to keep everything running.
Maybe your smallest child has just started school, and for the first time in years, you’ve got a bit of headspace… but no idea what to do with it! Maybe you've had a brilliant career, run a business, or worked as a freelancer - but suddenly you're staring ahead to the next chapter thinking, “Who even am I now?” Or life threw you a curveball and you’re finally ready to begin looking to the future again.
If this sounds familiar, you're absolutely in the right place.
I work with creative, thoughtful women (just like you) who want something exciting to move toward. More balance, more clarity and a new challenge, on their terms and in line with their values. Something they can be proud of, an achievable challenge that fits in with their current lifestyle or situation.
What’s it like working with me?
Coaching with me is relaxed but purposeful. No high-pressure goal-chasing - just clear, kind, practical support to help you move forward.
We’ll talk, explore ideas, and often use creative tools like metaphor, visioning, journaling, or gentle art based prompts to get the thoughts flowing. You don’t need to be an artist (honestly!) - just be open to exploring new ways of thinking.
I work with women in 1-2-1’s and small groups (like my Artists Way Book Club), and I’m currently building a toolkit of on-demand resources, for those who prefer to go at their own pace.
You can book a one-off session to unblock a sticky challenge or sign up for a block of 6-12 to really build momentum and have consistent support along the way.
Does this coaching stuff actually work?
Yep - I know its easy to be sceptical when there are 100’s of different kinds of coaches out there all promising the world - it can feel confusing knowing who if someone is genuine and right for you.
Here’s what I’ve seen people gain from coaching with me (and experienced myself):
Elevated confidence levels
Clarity on “what next”
Clearer boundaries
Big scary things suddenly feel doable
Less “What if I fail?” and more “What if this works?”
A personalised achievable action plan
Integrated Resilience & positive self-talk
I don’t offer magic solutions. But it can feel pretty magical when you realise you’re moving forward, one step at a time, with someone cheering you on. Check out the testimonials below to hear from others I have worked with. Keep scrolling for info on my qualifications and experience. And if you are still a little uncertain I’m happy to chat over email or book a meeting with me.
Got questions?
Do I need to be laser clear on my goals?
If you have something in mind - great! But if not we can start where you are and explore this together - working out exactly what you want and what will be best for you - that can be a goal in itself.
Is coaching like therapy?
There are some similarities with therapy. Both offer you a judgment free space to explore your thoughts and challenges, to reflect and to be deeply seen and heard. Both draw from psychological theories, models and tools. However, they differ, in that Coaching is primarily future-focused. We may touch on the past, but it’s all about what’s next and how you want to feel moving forward. Coaching assumes you are in overall good mental health and therefore able to move forward. In creative coaching we use your visual language to deepen the conversation.
What if I’m not creative?
I believe everyone’s creative in their own way, you may just not have had the opportunity to express it or have forgotten along the way. You don’t need to be an artist to benefit from creative tools - these are just additional ways to unlock your thinking and give voice to what’s in your head (and heart) where words may not come easily. We primarily work together through conversations, peppered with some creative activities based in coaching methods.
Are you going to tell me what I should do?
A Coach is different to a Mentor or Advisor, in that a Coach will not offer advice, but the tools for you to come up with your own plan of action. A big part of coaching is exploring through self-reflection, to expand your self-awareness. From this place, you will be more able to see what decisions fit with your unique values and personality. I may offer follow up questions or ‘homework’ if you enjoy going deeper in your own time, but I trust you to know best what’s right for you. The coaching goals and sessions will be led by you and you can always say if something isn’t working or you would like to do things differently.
Is this right for me?

Beckie’s Story
I’ve always loved the arts, ever since I was very young. As a child you would have found me painting and drawing, reading and writing stories, or directing my younger siblings on how to improve our current play or dance show!
I hold a BA in Contemporary Fine Arts Practice, a Post-Grad Certificate in Design and I am delighted to have recently qualified in Level 5 Professional Coaching, with BPP University, passing with Distinction. In creative coaching I integrate all of my experience, knowledge and skills to offer a unique coaching experience that supports self reflection and growth.
I often work with people at various transition stages of life, students, graduates, those in early motherhood and following retirement. Whatever stage you are at, I can support you to define, develop and work towards you future goals and consider ways around your challenges and thinking blocks.
I work with you in a supportive, confidential, and non-judgemental space, giving you the opportunity to delve deep into professional and/or personal plans. I use integrative, psychologically backed, coaching models dependant on your needs including - Thinking Environments, Gestalt and Solutions Focused approaches.
I combine creative thinking tools such as metaphor, clean language, visioning, journaling and practical art making, to help explore your values and way of thinking - with an extra dose of fun and play (it doesn’t all haveto be serious!)
I can support you to develop new ideas, consider different options and perspectives, work towards goals, provide listening, challenge and accountability.
Sessions can be booked as one off’s for specific topics or blocks (6-12) for longer term thinking about next steps and can be held online or in person for those based near Bristol or Bath.
Qualifications
I studied for a BA in Contemporary Fine Arts Practice at a small and unique arts university, called Dartington College of Arts, set right in the middle of the Devonshire countryside. Surrounded by musicians, artists, dancers, writers, trees and fields - I knew I had found my place. I am delighted to have recently qualified in Level 5 Professional Coaching, with BPP University, passing with Distinction.
From then on I have made it my mission in life to live and work with creatives and in creative places, with roles in Galleries such as Fabrica, the Royal West of England Academy and Spike Island and within educational institutions including, University of the West of England and Bath University. Alongside this, I have maintained my own arts practice, delivering community projects and workshops, exhibitions and residencies and collaborating with Artists and groups such as Spilt Milk Gallery, Somerset Artworks and delivering creative development workshops for student scholars. Most recently I qualified on EMCC accredited course in Professional Coaching (Level 5) with BPP University, passing with Distinction.
My favourite thing is seeing people I have worked alongside go on to do amazing things and achieve their goals!
